Martillo Workshop er en enkeltmandsvirksomhed fra Hobro, drevet af S\u00f8ren Hammer. Alle produkter du finder p\u00e5 siden er h\u00e5ndlavede af S\u00f8ren.\nSiden 2010 har S\u00f8ren arbejdet med l\u00e6der og i 2018fyrede han for f\u00f8rste gang i op i essen.<\/p>\n

I de tidlige dage lavede S\u00f8ren udstyr til liverollespil. Arbejdet med l\u00e6der udviklede sig ogs\u00e5 til en karriere indenfor livestreaming i 2013, da han begyndte at sende live fra sin dagligstue mens han lavede udstyr som \"ThatDanishGuy\" p\u00e5 Twitch og JustinTV. I dag er han kendt som Martillo Workshop p\u00e5 Twitch og og kameraet er rykket ud i smedjen hvor seere kan f\u00f8lge hvert eneste hammerslag.
\"ThatDanishGuy\" oplevede enorm st\u00f8tte fra seerne, som endte med at S\u00f8ren opbyggede 6 m\u00e5neders ventetid p\u00e5 bestillingsarbejde, n\u00e5r han lavede punge, musem\u00e5tter og alt muligt andet, med temaer fra popul\u00e6re film, b\u00f8ger og videospil.<\/p>\n

I en kort periode fungerede Martillo Workshop som en Etsy butik, hvor S\u00f8ren producerede punge, terninge-poser, armb\u00e5nd og meget andet p\u00e5 bestilling.

S\u00f8ren endte med at lukke Etsy butikken og tage en 3 \u00e5r lang pause fra livestreamingen og l\u00e6derarbejdet. Han kastede sig i stedet ind i smedningens verden.<\/p>\n

Som hans navn m\u00e5ske har hentydet lidt til, var smedeh\u00e5ndv\u00e6rket som skabt for ham og i l\u00f8bet af de f\u00e5 \u00e5r S\u00f8ren har smedet, har han brugt over tusindvis af timer ved ambolten, Han har smedet dedikeret for at opbygge erfaringen og evnerne til at levere kvalitetsarbejde, og han ser frem til en livstid af l\u00e6ring.<\/p>\n\n\n

Martillo Workshop er ikke kun en kunsth\u00e5ndv\u00e6rker butik, men ogs\u00e5 en undervisnings og underholdningsvirksomhed. S\u00f8ren har \u00e5bnet d\u00f8rene til smedjen til et online publikum, og i 2020 til elever i den fysiske smedje. Her underviser han begyndere og \u00f8vede i smedeteknikker, og tilbyder nu b\u00e5de kurser for op til 6 deltagere og enkeltperson undervisning for nye og motiverede smede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Han tager enhver chance for at fremvise og formidle h\u00e5ndv\u00e6rket, b\u00e5de gennem video og i fysiske rammer, n\u00e5r han smede i Den Gamle By i Aarhus eller rundt omkring i landet p\u00e5 messer og markeder. Det giver en unik og ufiltreret adgang til arbejdet, i h\u00e5b om at fremme forst\u00e5elsen for det gamle h\u00e5ndv\u00e6rk og inspirere nye smede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
