Mangled nails coat hanger

Description

This quirky coat hanger is made using old nails and reclaimed wood. The hooks are attached to the backboard with my own hand forged nails.

The wood has been burnt and treated with raw linseed oil. The backboard measures about 36x9cm for the 3 hook variant and 27x9cm for the 2 hook variant.

Please note the nails are clinched on the backboard in order to secure the hooks perfectly. To avoid accidental damage to your wall when hanging the coat hanger, place a a thick, or several, pieces of cardboard behind the clinched nails.
