Description
Many people hang a horseshoe above a doorway for luck, but in Denmark people would hang a used horseshoe above a doorway to ward off ghosts. When night fell and the ghost attempted to enter the house, the ghost would see the horseshoe above the door and be compelled to travel as far as the horseshoe had. The sun would rise before the ghost could complete this task, and thus the house remained safe throughout the night. These wall hangers are not functional horseshoes but I’m pretty sure a ghost would have to travel as far as the shoe has, so it should work well for international customers. It’s still a lucky horseshoe regardless of its ghost repellent properties, and a cute decoration for your home.
